This page uses CloudFlare Web Analytics to analyze traffic. No personal data is stored. All data is stored anonymously.
You can sign in by using a third-party service (called OAuth). That way, ChessMonitor stores an identifier about you, but the password is not transferred in the process.
The only personal information stored in the process is the profile ID and the mail address from your login provider.
In addition, you can link other accounts. These are only linked to add special privileges (like a subscriber role). We do not store the mail addresses of these accounts:
This page uses smtp2go.com to send emails. This includes confirmation mails and newsletter mails. In case you want to unsubscribe from any newsletter, you can click at the unsubscribe link at the end of any mail to manage your subscription.
In addition to your login information, ChessMonitor downloads your chess games from Chess.com and/or Lichess.org to provice you statistics:
This contains various information like the profile URL, player name, number of wins/draws/losses, title (e.g. GM), openings, moves, start times and more. This data is public information available to anyone and evaluated by ChessMonitor to present you various statistics.
ChessMonitor might also parse games of users not using ChessMonitor. For this, we are using open data sources. You can find a full list of sources in the Credits.
The mail address is stored in the database. If you want to delete your account, please write me a mail to remove your data from the database.

Please keep in mind, that most of the information shown on ChessMonitor.com are provided by other providers. An example might be the name of your account profile on Chess.com or Lichess that might be displayed by us. In case you want to update or change that information, you might need to contact these providers first to change or erase your data.
